I’m a writer, editor, artist, calligrapher, and mom of one.

Any story with character growth, murky but clearing divides between good and evil, and talking animals has me instantly enthralled. I prefer stories with some sort of fantastical element, either low or high. I also enjoy the tension in playing high-powered characters who are restricted from their full potential, usually voluntarily.

I like thinking about the practical aspects in the worlds and characters I build - things like food sources and washing clothes - and how that impacts story and character.
