Natural order no longer safeguards the balance of an unrecognizable Mother Gaia.
The Sapiens of Invention spread across her surface like a cancerous blight.
Although our kind was first born, no longer dare we tread the fertile grounds we once hunted freely, now barred to us by massive constructs of iron and stone.
…It seems even Father Mountain succumbs to their insatiable whims…
And so we are forced to gather here, in these few fruitless lands left for us, fighting each other over scraps whilst awaiting our bloody ends upon the pointed sticks of the next greedy pack of feeble hunters.
Is this really all that is left for us?..
Primeval Roar is a classic fantasy RPG from the perspective of the monsters. Become a beast from myth/legend, your favorite fandom, or an original creation and take the fight to humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, and the like!
This story will have emphasis on gaming aspects through the use of unique assets:
[Dominance] cards will be doled out after meeting certain criteria or exceptional role-playing, then totaled up at the end of the story to see just who sits at the top of the food chain!
[Extinction] cards will also be dispensed for certain criterias or if a Player goes 1 week without posting. 3 Extinction cards and your character will be retired.
Hardcore pacing but only because Storium “normal” seems to be 2 or 3 moves a month. Due to the unique mechanics, all players are welcome, although serious candidates should post at least 2-3 times a week.
