I do a Lent game of some sort every year. Can’t believe how quick its come around.
I’ve done it different formats over the years. And I’m very keen that everyone feels welcome. This is about exploring ideas and breaking down misconceptions.
Lent is officially Wed, 18 Feb 2026 – Thu, 2 Apr 2026. I got some holiday in amongst there but we’ll see how it goes, I might start it early.
In fact, I go away just before, returning on the 18th - so I might be a bit slow responding in the week up to the 18th but start the game ON that day…
I’m going to put up “challenges”. Each challenge will have a statement or question with ideas around faith, grace, justice, forgiveness etc. The outcomes will be moot. It’s just a mechanism by which players can take a card, and write their thoughts. If you want, the card you play on it can sum up your key points.
To anyone reading the page, it will be like folk have put a post-it note on the top of their comments signposting what they are talking about, and of course anyone can join that same “conversation”; or pick a different card.
