The End Days are not just upon the world, they are here. Of course even in the Apocalypse societies still try desperately to thrive despite all manner of monstrous beings rending the balance and appearing. This was predicted, but something that was never saw, that is the story. Angels, spirits or avatars call them what you will, they believe mankind deserved to be saved, even going so far to disobey higher powers and intervene directly, but there is a catch.
They are no longer all powerful beings – yet… and by appearances they are mortal, human and finally they are unaware of who they were. By all essence they know themselves as having histories and being born on earth. In reality they are those who said no, directly refused to be party to such massacres and destroyed their memories to help mankind.
Even in it lowest, these seven believed man deserved a chance, perhaps one the titles you shall know as what they represent.
In Christianity they were known as Seven Heavenly Virtues, Patience, Diligence, Charity, Kindness, Temperance, Humility and Chasity. Now they are humans who display these traits despite living in a world without rules, without law, without guidance, a world abandoned by higher powers.
They are alone and overtime their powers they had while immortal will return and they will become personifications of Virtues.
What is the end game?
Not even they know, they could just not abandon and leave humanity to be massacred.
If you read that whole thing, I thank you. I admit this is both an experimentation in using rotating narrator and trying an idea I have no inkling of the ending for. The world is a living hell essentially and the characters you are will not be right away aware of who they are.
Of course due themes like drug-use, violence and elements of sexuality and sexual content this will be NSFW. Any sort of society is very basic as there is no power plants, although electricity is possible in certain locations.
There will be many supernatural elements in this and many creatures and or monsters. Perhaps some work with humans or fight one another, it’s entirely up to you.
I will not begin without seven characters if I got more interest I will consider allowing Non-Virtue characters.
I also must ask that people practice commitment in this and though it may move slow it will keep moving especially as I shall not be only narrator.
As to how powers develop, we can discuss further details in Green Room, I am open to suggestions. I am also keeping this in one location in US, not sure what state, again we can discuss in Green Room.
Even though there is religious ideas in this, this is not Christian Armageddon, this is merely a apocalypse that can fit all religions and mythos’s. The virtues are merely an idea that transcends most understanding, think of them as semi-cosmic.
