The Last Kingdom has stood for more than a thousand years, a bastion of civilization in a world teetering ever closer to disaster and barbarism. But the future looks dire. The seemingly endless undead hordes of Paethen, the self-styled Manifest God of Death, have surrounded the Kingdom on all sides and encroach further and further towards the capitol everyday.
King Valen Drast Norringen IV, the current Lord of the Kingdom, has put out a summons for any remaining champions or adventurers that will undertake a final quest. A quest that carries the fate of the the Last Kingdom and the life of everyone of it’s subjects with it.
You are one of those champions. Come join the quest to the last of humanity.
This is an intro to Storium for players from the NanoWrimo Facebook group. We will work out pacing as we go, but try to give everyone at least 24 hours to respond to a post before posting again. Generally you are welcome to dictate the actions of Non-Player Characters as needed within your posts, but you should clear having a Player Character do something in the comments or via some other communication before committing. Remember that you are the only one who can edit your posts, and once another post has been made, even that goes away.
