A major convention of world leaders has begun in New York. They have brought with them some of the real kingmakers of world power, people who pull all the strings behind the scenes of the world we know. Powerhouses of the espionage world have come out for this summit, people who never go out in public or allow themselves to be seen.
For many, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
It’s almost too good to be true.
Mostly because it is. A coalition of counter-intelligence agencies have secretly contracted with dozens of operatives, approaching each as though they were the only one being offered the contract. Eliminate the other spies on your list of targets, and you will never need to work again. Your record will be cleared, your identity expunged from international databases, your retirement will await you in a Swiss bank with a real attitude problem when it comes to authorities. All you have to do is mop these other chumps up, then call a number and claim the prize. Of course, if you’ve missed anyone, calling that number is signing your own death warrant. So you’d better be SURE. Some of them don’t have pictures, just MOs. Some of them could practically be anyone, from how vague their descriptions are. The safest thing to do is just kill any spy you see. In the end, it’ll all be wiped away– or you will be. Either way.
There will be spies swarming this city for as long as so much power is concentrated here. What are you after? What brings you here? How did you find out about the contract? How long can you survive in the cutthroat world of espionage without getting yourself killed, or worse, exposed!
There will be only one winner. But the rest of us will have some fun along the way.
Your bio must include:
1) What your character wants if you win.
2) What if anything they brought with them, and how they brought it. This will be given to you as starting equipment. Anything else must be earned in-game if you want to use it.
In comments to the narrator, include
1) One major secret weakness your character has that is not reflected in the Weakness card. I don’t want godmodders and I want to know we’re working with players who can handle being at a disadvantage. This secret weakness will be kept, you know. Secret :) Try to play it without anyone else figuring out what it is. When you do, you have a greater chance of uncovering assets, but I won’t be tipping anyone off by letting them know why an extra asset has appeared or even that it has. :)
2) The code phrase. If you don’t know it, don’t bother submitting the character, you didn’t read and follow the instructions. You won’t be able to keep up with the players who did.
