Description: The Ravenwood Institute is a Government funded Research Facility manned by the Military. Their goal is simple, create super soldiers.
Nearly one hundred and fifty years ago the effort to create super soldiers was created in secrecy. The Witch Hunts were still ongoing at the time, the church determined to destroy all threats of evil that might seed among the followers of God. This was a dangerous time for their research and on penalty of death secrecy was sworn by all involved.
Scientists, Investigators, and other necessary professionals from all over the world were hunted down, these brilliantly skilled but under appreciated individuals and their families were paid to move to the area that would become Ravenwood. When they arrived there they found one large mansion with razor wire around it that was under heavy guard. Surrounding it were warm tents for them to live in while the settlement was build and within the mansion were the most fascinating individuals.
Some people came willingly, accepting payment given to their families in exchange for becoming a research participant. Others were sold by their families and friends to the cause. And those unwilling to come quietly were dragged away in the dead of the night. But no one really knew where they were going or why.
These people all had one thing in common, they were talented in ways many other humans were not. They were those who truly might have been considered “Witches”. Those who had genetic mutations or evolutionary traits. They were taken and hidden away in the walls of Ravenwood.
Everything at Ravenwood is ‘need to know’ only. Many people that live in Ravenwood today have no idea what goes on within the walls of the Institute. Many of them know nothing about the special nature of the occupants or what they are actually researching. Only the most privileged individuals know much of anything.
PC Dress Code: It is a military institute so uniform applicable to their job or an event is usual. During leisure time there could be time to dress down in Civilian Casual clothing.
