The letter looked nothing special; but it arrived at a Sunday. No ordinary mail ever arrives at Sundays.

My Dear ——
You may not know about me, but I know about you. I have seen some of your work and I know that you got what I am looking for. I will make this letter short since there is no use for more words than necessary.
Recently some friends of mine returned after an expedition to the Mediterranean and they brought the most amazing news. I shiver whenever I think of it; of what they told me. Out there in the turquoise sea they claim to have found the lost city of Atlantis! Of course they showed me proof before asking me of founding a second expedition to the ancient and lost world.
So now I am writing to you, since I need a special team to join on this journey. Of course I will pay you for your time, but I think you will find more pleasure in the relics and the exploration of this lost and mystique city from the time before ancient Greece.
If you accept my offer - you don’t have to decide yet - a cab will pick you up outside your port at 10 pm on Saturday and you will be brought (I pay for it all) to my residence in Italy. You will then get more information about the expedition and afterwards I want to know whether you are willing to join or not.

About the game:
You will play as one of the people who got the letter and then accepted the offer. The story will start an evening when you all have arrived at the professor’s house (you travelled there by plane, boat, train or car from any country in the world) where you will get some information. Then I was planning on jumping in time to the beginning of the expedition (the interesting part). Remember that the game will take place in 1939, so keep your character true to their time.
Please, only players that will continue the playing and don’t quit suddenly or players that makes their moves so slowly that the story will be completely stopped.
Otherwise I don’t know how this will turn out. We can choose to keep it more realistic or fill it with supernatural beings and surrealism; but let’s decide that along the way.
