During the events where The Brain and Brotherhood of Evil tried to destroy and rip apart the Titans.
A group of villains united by purpose saw a chance to take over Markovia an Eastern European Nation formally led by Markov Royal Family until the mysterious disappearance of the King whether intentional or not members of the Markov Family welcomed Vandal Savage with his allies.
Circe, Black Mask, Hugo Strange and Maxwell Lord to take over Markovia. The coup was bloodless and by the time news of the defeat of the Brotherhood of Evil was released the Country was under their control.
The Plan, overcome Europe, but first, deal with the biggest thorn in their side.
Jump City would fall and with that Teen Titans would be crushed.

Turning solemnly to the views he continues, "An emergency meeting was initiated after a year without contact from Markovia. The EU is discussing whether Military Action is necessary as of now there are no demands. Markovia can no longer be accessed as there is a huge wall rivalling Berlin Wall in size surrounds the countries borders."
The Titans were dealing with their problems, with some choosing to stay and leave but to add to the drama; Tara Markov had regained her memories entirely meaning she remembered the blood on her hands as well the destruction she caused.
Further, she is so traumatised she hears the voice of Slade Wilson taunting her in her mind, sometimes seeing him.
Can the Titan’s forgive her and will they Unite to face the new Foe on their horizon?
So many minds and manipulation, just how long can such conniving traitorous individuals work towards a common purpose?
