The year is 2270. The U.S.S. Zeng He is part of a exploratory task-force dispatched to a remote region of Federation space, Sector 233. Near the heart of the sector a quantum singularity has erupted disrupting the region. The Zheng He has been tasked with cataloguing the effects of the singularity on the region and containing any dangerous extra-dimensional intrusions while Starfleet finds a way to safely close the singularity.
This game is a sequel to Star Trek: Under a Blue Sun. That game while exciting hit several bumps toward the end and it ended rather anticlimactically. This game continues the story started in that game and hopefully will be more successful.
