After months of staying at home with only your device screens to keep you company, celebrating freedom with a short hike to a waterfall for a swim and picnic sounds heavenly. And the best company on this adventure are the people you’ve met online over the tedious Movement Control Order (MCO).
But someone took a wrong turn or read a marker wrong, and now you’re ridiculously lost. Your easy half-hour hike turned into two hours of humid Malaysian rainforest, and every direction looked exactly the same. No waterfall in sight.
It can’t be that bad, right? There’s still plenty of daylight, and you’re packed for a picnic. You can just backtrack for another hour or so until something looks familiar.
