At present, we have enough players to start, but I will be keeping this open for a while. Players willing to go with the Sex Worker, Daemonic Couriers, or Fledgling Roadie cards or make up their own will be given priority.

Since we have started, new band member characters will be people trying to get into the band, not already in it.
Oh yeah, we’ve started, but we’re still looking for 3 or 4 new faces in here.
Follow the career of a hot new band by the name of the Laughing Men, whoa re taking the streets of Neuvous Paris by storm. Or they son will be anyway. This is a classic cyberpunk tale of sex, Better Than Life chips, record deals, and of course, rock n’ roll (or rather, cyber-jazz).
The band members are bickering amongst themselves over something just about every day, and their closest lackeys and camp followers keep getting stuck in the crossfire, meanwhile the lead singer is in deep into something hazardous to everyone’s health.
NOTE: Like the improvisational beats and rhythms of classic jazz, I only have a vague plan of where this story is headed, as I’m leaving a lot of what happens up to the characters. This is marked as Not Safe For Work partly because I have a habit of casually dropping swears every now and then… but more because no authentic tale of a hit band can be told without plenty of sex, drugs, drama, dark comedy, and a nice dash of techno-thriller and a pinch of horror thrown in for good measure.
This RP is kind of what you’d get if Shadowrun had a baby with the World of Darkness.
Feel free to come up with your own cards, but please note the following:
I will only be accepting THREE band member characters.
No one can be the lead singer/guitarist at first. We have an npc for that.
No Shadowrunners. You can be a retired Runner, or a wannabe, but you can’t start off as an active Shadowrunner.
Feel free to come up with your own cards as long as they follow those rules. And while I didn’t put much magic into the player cards, you may make some of your own… just don’t go crazy.
All Shadowrun player races are playable, but I don’t feel it necessary to put that under the “nature” section. Just make it clear in your bio what you are.
From World of Darkness, only fledgling vampires, werewolves, and Seelie Fae are playable. You may become an Unseelie as the story progresses, but you may not start out that way.
You can play as the Laugh Mens’ Agent, but I will only be accepting one character for that role.
More than one just doesn’t seem to make sense.
Other than that… have fun! Oh, and I’m looking for 8 to 12 players here. Bit of an experiment.
