This is not a conventional game. You will be writing dialogues between your two “characters”, and later sparing with other people’s characters.
Don’t be phased by the fact one Act has played out. The second “Act” will be new pairs in a brand new situation - with the scope that the original pairs can re-appear. New players are therefore welcome Act One is a great read, but don’t feel you need to be on top of it to submit, because the second Act is a new game, and your characters will not need to be familiar with anything which has gone before.
The location is not important and will evolve from the characters - the time is broadly present day.
Our characters are in love-hate or hate-hate relationships.
You don’t quite get it? If your interest has been piqued and you get involved, we will work together to move it in a direction we will all like.
It is all about exploring our characters, dramatic and rhetorical use of language, and the comedy of conflict.
From a Storium perspective, the big thing here is that dialogue can be a little tricky in the Storium format - but this game re-writes the rules on that, as every move is a convo between 2 characters!
We can discuss more in the lobby.
