Delgaris is a land of magic and intrigue, in an era of peace since the humans banded together at the end of the Great War. The races live in harmony, supporting each other with trade, and the influence of Delgaris continues to grow every day, under the rule of the Council of Twelve.
Yet not all is well. Magic is disappearing, and no one knows why. Some believe it is due to natural occurrences, others believe that someone or something has cursed the land. Still others keep their doubts to themselves and live their daily lives as though nothing is happening. But uneasiness reigns amongst the people as a darkness falls over the land. Beasts are emerging from their hiding places in the mountains. Those who were once pure and whole have become the Shapeshifted. Most retain their former personality, but are driven out from their homes. The unlucky ones who lose themselves to the killer instinct of animals lay waste to the land around them.
You are a a traveller who has been roaming the land, for reasons of your own. You are now at the port city of Lyten, where it is rumoured that the City’s council seeks adventurers to join a force to stop the pirates that have been menacing the trade ships. Will you answer the call?
Please do note some of the implications that come with creating certain characters. For example, mages will have to be okay with their spells going awry once in a while, and Shapeshifted have to be aware that they may be subjects of prejudice from NPCs… That kind of thing.
I’m looking for 4-6 players who are willing to commit to a move every 2-3 days. Feel free to create your own natures, and the like. Please keep original strengths and weaknesses to personality traits rather than physical traits, but other than that it’s all open. This will be an epic adventure, so it would be preferable if players were ready for that. I’ll also be experimenting with card mechanics, so any interesting ideas with cards is appreciated. Hope to have a fun game with you!
