This is a world of own or be owned. In the medieval city of Revine, slavery is normal, and accepted. Women and children walk by the plaza, where often times disobedient slaves will be whipped in public, and will hardly bat an eye. Some of the men will even cheer. It’s a harsh world we live in, but we’re hoping for a way out.
We’re slaves, sure, but we’re determined to break the chains that bind us. We’ll escape, whatever it takes.
