The world has become more and more hostile to vampires. The sun’s rays have become more powerful, silver more deadly and, on top of that, a mysterious lethal virus is hitting hard, decimating the community of the undead in a slow and painful death. Fewer and fewer people become vampires, and those who do don’t survive long, easy prey of the plague.
The scientific board of the community is working hard to craft a serum that will work as an antidote for the virus and other threats to vampiric immortality but time is ticking out.
The leaders of the clans all over the world are summoned to gather at the Vampiric Council once again in centuries. They have urgent yet serious decisions to make if they don’t want their kind to face extinction for the first time in their once glorious history.
Yet the vampires lack unity, discord run among the clans as well as between the Council and the Clanless…and the Hunter knows it all too well.
The Vampiric Council, the Clanless, the vampire hunter. They all share the same oath: do whatever it takes to protect their kind whenever danger strikes.
But what does “whatever it takes” mean to them?
How far are they willing to go to succeed?
