On the other hand, mysticism and belief in the supernatural had spread to popularity not seen since before the Renaissance. How could a society that had discovered sub-atomic particles and unlocked the mechanisms of genetics still believe in spirits and magic? This duality would set the stage for mankind’s next major discovery and innovation: Aether-Tech.

It is now 2043, and spiritual troubleshooters skilled at solving problems of a ghostly nature are opening offices in every major city. You are a member of one such start-up, and your first case is about to walk in the door.
This is a setting of Techo-Mysticism. The world is mostly like today’s with a touch of cyberpunk technology and a healthy dose of classical mysticism.
