Forty years ago, the world ended. Now nature has slowly healed, and peace has returned. Cows graze the fields while irrigation drones buzz through the sky. An old, jailbroken electric car is hooked up to the solar panels on the barn. Chickens scurry around the wheels, trying to find bugs and seeds in the grass. A pleasant spring sun shines on chives and basil, both potted in 3D-printed planters.
You are a resident in a remote farm community, where the old and the new have found a harmonious balance. You and the other residents live a safe and peaceful life far away from the rest of the world, each contributing your own expertise and skills to the farm. The work is hard and demanding at times, but life is good.
Then, on a foggy spring morning, three of the chickens are missing from the coop. Bloody feathers, a hole in the fencing: it must have been a fox. This unexpected visitor leads to a disagreement that suddenly pits the residents against each other. Which side will you take, and can you and the others prevent the community from falling apart?
