“For the unblooded, life in Shanri is hard. Noprotection from the Law. Powerful noblesdemanding your time and services. That humiliating “Please don’t kill me”greeting. Orks, bandits, thieves and immoralmagistrates.
But in a world like theirs, even the peasantshave secrets.”
This is an unofficial Slumming game. Players will all be Vassals serving under a single Ven. Who is the Ven they serve? Well, that’s something the players will define with the Narrator as we play the game. One thing is for certain, all are unblooded and all have their own secrets and dreams.
This is a glimpse of what happens between Stories. Of what occurs in the gaps between Seasons.
Welcome to Under the Shadow.
Knowledge of Houses of the Blooded is sadly very important for this game, because it will help shape the atmosphere and challenges you will face as one of the unblooded.
The Strength cards represent the role your character will play in the household. Clearly, most roles cannot be duplicated save for the Staff, Maids and Valets.
Strengths represent your key Aspect. Weaknesses represent your second Aspect. I would prefer we stick to this list just for simplicity. I feel I had come up with a varied enough list.
Subplots are examples but I am happy to hear more.
This game may have around 3-6 players. There will, however, be scenes involving only 1 or 2 players at some points. Just be aware that while I feel this game will have a number of posts in a day, there may be days some players won’t be active in a scene. I wish Storium allowed multiple scenes simultaneously, but that’s not there yet.
