You died, but that wasn’t the end, because you came back. Through the screams, healing flesh and the glaring hot rush of your soul cramming its way back into your fresh corpse, you became a reborn, part of a group of people who returned from heaven - or hell’s- gates and back to the world of the living.
But just because you and your undead peers came back, didn’t mean you came back normal. As a reborn, you now have the ability to speak to your fellow dead, ghouls and spirits now come to you to harm or for help, and you can see and talk right back.
But this comes at a price, you knew this the second you woke up again. The entity that brought life back to the reborn gave you one message engraved in your thoughts, with a light threat on the side - Shephard the dead or return to them
Now you and your friends have one goal, help the spirits of the city pass on to the other side, lest you end up in the ground for good.
And don’t forget…. you aren’t the only undead monster roaming here
