Imagine waking up one day, it seems normal enough, the sun is shining, the sky is a bright cheery blue and birds are singing the afternoon away. Just another day in the life. For all intents and purposes the day seems entirely normal, ordinary, maybe even boring – but there’s something that just feels off. Like today is supposed to mean something. You can’t put your finger on it and it feels like it’s right at the tip of your tongue but you can’t verbalize it. It’s infuriating. You try to put it out of your mind but you just can’t let it go no matter how much your friends, family, or co-workers try to convince you. So you go about your day frustrated, upset, maybe even angry about the fact that this day is completely and utterly ordinary when it feels so–
–and then you set your house on fire – with your bare hands. Or maybe you teleport and end up in France, when you were in South America seconds prior. Perhaps you just electrocuted that co-worker you hate. Or why is everyone screaming? Oh you could’ve swore those wings weren’t on your back a second ago. Or maybe even more unsettling – you never noticed anything particularly wrong or unusual at all … but everything seems to be going your way…
No matter what the case, it all ends up the same. July 17th. 1AM. A pair of twins. A male and a female in a black limousine. They speak in a cryptic way that would make the Cheshire Cat envious. What do they want with you? – To whisk you off to a secluded mansion in the mountains of BC.
– And no, you don’t have a choice.
