The world was once thriving with creatures of all kinds. Known as the Alt’s, including vampires, werewolves, wizards, elves, and the likes, all lived in harmony with the humans until the Uprising. A biological weapon created by human extremists sterilized everyone that wasn’t human. Entire clans were hunted down and wiped out. Fairies are now extinct. After many decades nature triumphed, and new generations were being born. The elders swore to protect the new generations and strengthen their numbers.
Dublin has changed dramatically over the last century. It is now home to most of the surviving Alt population. With high-security measures to keep humans away from Ireland, the Alt’s finally have a place to call home and feel safe. Time has made the Alt’s angry, and the city is a rough place to be.
Trinity College is transformed into a school exclusively for the Tús Nua, the new beginning generation born since the Uprising. A lot is riding on the school’s success and the future. The first group of finishing school Tús Nua’s are graduating this year, and they have to prove themselves worthy. That means choosing friends and making enemies. Just hope you get out of this life without becoming a ghost — because no one wants to linger in this school that long.
This modern fantasy deck depicts a youth cast of characters in a hard-luck city in need of help. Their parents place a lot of pressure on them because of their high standing. Every choice is under scrutiny.
