It’s been half a century since the seminal discovery that made fast interstellar travel fully feasible. Now, during the height of a golden age of space exploration, human colonization of remote stars has hit full tilt, and shuttles embark on a regular basis from Earth full of bright-eyed pioneers heading for distant worlds.
Amongst the most well known and prosperous of these colonies is Lumin, a city marked in its short history by rapid growth and significant wealth, largely due to the planet’s beauty and rich natural resources. You are one of the hundred or so passengers on the latest shuttle to Lumin. After a trying flight of nearly two weeks, finally you’ve arrived.
