Four chosen, four came, four heading in the same direction, a path unknown.
The party gathers in the main Com. Center for the communing planets, a high- tech space station more commonly used for trade but now decked out in every type of battle preparation tech possible. The man that made it happen was Commander Ahigo of the Planetary Trade, who decided to come together for the defence of the Moon and maybe more. He was put in charge and brought the party together.
As the four stepped into the room, he turned to greet you. His eyes reflected the four, the metal walls, glowing lights, and people surrounding you. The first thing he said was, “If I asked you to die, would you?”
The room was surrounded in hush murmuring. It was Conner who answer the Commander’s question first.
“Depends, what would I be die doing?” He asked the Commander in a confident tone, but truthful was scarred of dying. He shook nervously after the question. He had a flashback of the time of when he almost did die.
Smoke, and fire were everywhere. The broken glass dome releasing all the air the plants made, and he was smashed underneath a ton of metal structure that once his lab. Those monster destroyed it. The chance to turn the moon into a New Earth. Before he could think another thing about it he was snapped back into his surroundings by the Commander’s response.
“Fighting.”
The large man in fatigues rolled his eyes as the commander asked the question. Leadership took more than the willingness for idiots to jump off cliffs cause a bigger idiot said so.
“Yeah…” He said and his focus came to pin prick clarity. “I’d -follow- you anywhere.”
The Russian in the dark corner in black robes just shrugs and with an expression that just says ,”i dont care or wanna be here”, responds.
“Honestly, i dont care. If you give me the orders, ill try to carry em out. No questions asked.”
Christian rolled his eyes at the words that came from the Russian dignitary. The gesture faded into a slow shaking of his head.
“Well that’s rea-fucking-suring…” He glanced back at the robed man, gave him a disdainful once over, then back to the commander. “Maybe the red meat didn’t quite understand the nature of this dilemma, sir.”
He then turned back to squarely look at Khrstov.
“And ‘Not Caring’ is absolutely –NOT- a goddamend option, OK Sonya…” he said crossing tattooed arms over massive chest. “You either ride with us, or collide with us… savvy?”
“Pssh, whats your problem? I know my nation has had lots of complications with yours in the past, which i took no part in, but that doesnt mean I am like them. I was forced to work in the mines,to feed my family. I hate my nation too for what they did to all the Civs in New Russia. So dont get all snappy with me. I hope we can cooperate in the near or far future. I will take any order, even if it means life or death. I only wish to unite our kingdoms and settle all our differences.”
He shuts up,and mistakably shows his weak side, which he tries to hide under his tough guy act.
At the first bits of the tirade, Christian opened his mouth to rebut, but the Russian just kept on pontificating. It was as if someone had pressed the patented ‘Play’ button, and he wouldn’t stop until his pre-recorded message was done.
When Khrstov finally finished Christian looked perplexed, and glanced at the commander, then at the others gathered.
“Are yo… is he…” He looked at Lila, with a quizzical look on his face. “Is he serious?”
He seemed a bit ill at ease, and unsure of what to do with himself, so he did what all big dumb jocks should do in such circumstances… he snickered, and tried to laugh it off, walking away shaking his head.
“Whaaat ever, doood”
