Criminal gangs are a fact of city life. Everyone knows that. Even the guards and the temple paladins are resigned to it. There’s a certain understanding, an unwritten contract, that even the most hardened criminals know they must keep.
Don’t rock the boat too hard, and we won’t hunt you to extinction.
But what happens when this old unspoken agreement is violated?
In the city of Ravelock, in the far north of Amstolt, they’re about to find out. The criminal element is slowly gaining ground, becoming more brazen in its raids and heists. Ordinary folk fear becoming the next target of a mysterious Syndicate, an organisation whose origin no one knows, and whose intentions no one trusts.
Whatever the City Guard might intend to do about this threat, the Temple of Fara refuses to take it lying down. Ravelock’s Voice of the Herald has a plan to save the city from the Syndicate. A plan that, oddly for a servant of the Lady Valiant, requires finesse and subtlety, two qualities that paladins don’t usually possess.
Perhaps a plan she’ll need to hire adventurers to see to fruition…
To Pray For Justice is a fantasy adventure game, set in a different part of the same world as my completed game To Cast A Shadow. For details on the setting, including the races and classes available for your character, see the website.
You will be an adventurer, ready to take on several missions to infiltrate a crime syndicate and thwart its nefarious plans. Some of these missions will require stealth and cunning, others will favour brute strength and fighting skill.
When creating a character, please use one of the Natures provided. For anything else, you can use the premade cards or create your own.
Note: You still can’t edit narrator cards, so if you want to put art on your Nature card you will have to copy the text over onto a custom card.
I am looking for 4-6 players who are prepared to move at least 2-3 times a week.
