A moon. None who end up there ever leave. Many travel to it as the name, Haven, suggests peace and safety. Sadly, none escape to tell the truth.
A city. Over time, it has swelled to cover the entirety of Haven. The rich take root and leech off of all else. The poor work, keeping the moon’s economy running, but they are taxed all that they have. If they refuse to support this system, they are killed.
A computer. It controls the city through implanted chips monitoring all people. These chips are only known, however, as a way for people to access cyberspace.
A gigantic web. It connects all people on the moon, and a little off the moon as well. It is this ‘cyberspace’ the chips give access to.
An organisation. Taking advantage of this web, this organisation, under the mask of a simple sports shop known as ‘Track’, works in secret, aiming to tear the system down and create a new one, not so cruel. This organisation has agents, known as runners, that work through both the real world and the web, carrying out tasks as they are needed.
You are a runner.
It is time to run.
Basic premise: You are agents working under a rebellious organisation. The first scene shall be the formation of your team, the rest will mostly be missions wherein you must complete tasks set at the beginning of the scene. These missions will generally consist of ‘physical’ runners performing tasks in the real world, e.g. Assassination or stealing intel, while the ‘cyber’ runners hack into the systems of wherever the ‘physical’ runners are and make sure the ‘physical’ runners’ jobs are actually possible.
Characters & the team: the team shall consist of six players, preferably 3 ‘physical’ and 3 ‘cyber’ runners. Characters can be anything, as long as they fit within the basic premise set. They can be long-time runners or rookies, Old or young, physical or cyber. The team will be chosen based on diversity, originality and creativity.
Note that I require you to make your cards yourself. I believe that you can’t really work well with a character that you didn’t design yourself.
And that is all. Let’s get running.
