A mage is looking for ingredients to help her create a cure to the ice fever sickness that has been spreading across the continent. Many of the ingredients are easily bought, but there were a few out of her reach within the Saterian Wood. With the war going on between the elves and the humans of Thomvence, nobody trusts the other even when coming on peaceful terms. The nomadic clans within the Saterian are weary and weapon ready, not likely to give advice for the herbs people may seek within their land. Especially not to humans who are trying to take it from them.
Marian Rantome, a skilled mage and healer, is working on a cure for the ice fever. She’s asked several people to search for Fliys Root and Klomn Ivy, hoping at least someone can get them back for her.
Thomvence is a vast country with one of the longest histories as a conjoined people. Around 100 years before present, they put more effort into expansion, and 3 years before present they successfully annexed the Achrint Plains north of them. Now Thomvence is looking to annex the Saterian Wood to their west to further expand their power and gather more resources. The Saterian is filled with elven clans that have lived there for centuries and have traveled under the canopy longer than recording histories tell. The Saterian is their homeland and their sacred ground, every tree a soul of one they lost. To them, Thomvence wants to destroy their history and their people.
