That’s what every human was promised when they built the Apart-ments. Total safety from the diseases that ravaged society, a fulfilling life within the virtual worlds, a spoon in each mouth, and an egg in each beer. It only had one price-freedom.
Forty years have passed since the first Apart-ments were built. The Worlds became richer as the players themselves adapted and built upon what they were given. The outside world has been forgotten by the inhabitants.
