The Basics:
There’s an opening in the City. A business district on the waterfront. A nice, generous ley line flows just in from the shore, in a curve following the water’s edge. And you and your pack are moving in and taking over.
Well, to a certain degree, if you’re seeing this blurb, you already know a lot of what this game is about! You’ll be establishing your pack, your club, and your territory. There’ll be murders to investigate, borders to defend, and laws to create and then enforce within your fief.
You’re a fairly new pack that first arrived in the City a month ago, and have been working non-stop to get your club ready to open ever since. The game will begin on opening night. What you’ve been up to, who you’ve met, and so forth in your month in the City will be left up to you.
Unless any of you specify otherwise, you only met each other six weeks ago or so.
Cards:
Card art is strongly preferred, but not required. When creating cards, please stick to the aesthetic I’m trying for (neon, nighttime, dark or washed out backgrounds complimented by vivid colors). I’m hoping to create an effective ambiance and mood through the game images!
The best way I’ve found for finding free, neat neon images is to search for “neon wallpaper” or “neon [blank] wallpaper” if you want something more specific. There’s tons of options out there, and since they’re wallpapers, it’s totally cool to download them and stuff.
Please also make sure to put attributions on your cards!
The example Powers listed in the Strength cards are by no means the only Powers you can take. Remember also that you don’t need to make your Strength card a Power; it’s just an option. You’ll also get two Asset card Powers, and all of the example Powers from the Strength cards are also already built as Asset cards.
I will of course need to work with everyone to create cards for your Neutral Powers so that you have both text and a picture you like.
Game Speed:
The average game speed you guys voted for was a post every two days, which sounds pretty good to me. So, let’s try to make that our average. I’ve chosen a “Normal” speed of 2-3 scenes per week, as that’s really the closest I can get to telling the nudge system how long to wait.
Other:
The game will be public with private commentary (unless anyone objects).

Here’s a link to one big game reference guide with all the background information you should ever need. Anything not detailed here is almost certainly up for grabs in world building!

The Prophecy:
Five moons create the month; five kindreds mix
wolf’s blood and man’s. The Seals, though, number six.
Blood seals the gibbous moon: A frightened pup
seeks solace in each bed, coin, pipe, and cup.
The half moon’s sealed in silver: She who shapes
it doubts the moon, and ponders new escapes.
The sea seals up the crescent: Trapped on shore,
the exile must relive her shame once more.
The new moon’s sealed in darkness: Mischief makes
the slave too pleased when punished for mistakes.
Song seals the full moon: Swift was sprung the trap,
but now she mourns lost love that fled her lap.
Sixth comes the sovereign seal. Who govern well
as lords of sacred land will with it dwell.
