We are looking to add a few more survivors to our story! Feel free to ask questions in the Lobby if need be and our players and host will gladly answer what we can.
“Wildfire is the given name for the infection ravishing the country. First reports of the infection were scattered throughout major metropolitan areas. It is possible the infection was brought to the US through major cities via international airports or seaports. However, it is also possible that the infection is a weaponized virus that got out of hand. The exact origins are unknown at this time and several conspiracy theories run rampant.
“The infection reached pandemic status just a few short days after identification. The rate of infection has been particularly high, especially in cases where body fluids have been exchanged. The virus is highly contagious at all stages of replication.
“The first cases of infection progressed through a state of fever, aches, and internal bleeding. This illness is ultimately fatal.
“Wildfire causes severe delirium and sometimes violent behavior in the patient. Infected patients seem to feel little or no pain, even when severely injured. Patients have been known to viciously attack other living animals, scratching, biting, and sometimes consuming flesh. These bites and scratches can cause severe secondary infections.
“Infected patients do not respond to normal auditory stimuli and do not seem cognizant of their surroundings. Most patients experience aphasia, or an acute loss of speech, in the later stages of the disease. Memory loss and deteriorating brain function are also common among patients.
“Currently, there are no known treatments for Wildfire.
“Authorities are recommending isolating in your homes or established FEMA refugee camps. If you or anyone in your household is showing signs of illness, law enforcement officials are asking you to stay home. Do NOT attempt to make your way to local hospitals.”

Welcome to the world of The Walking Dead. Where the dead have risen, the world has collapsed and walkers aren’t the only thing you have to be scared of. This game will be based in the same universe as the comic series written by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard and the AMC television series developed by Frank Darabont.
Much like those series, this game will focus on a group of survivors in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. The game will start in the city of Macon, Georgia, and surrounding areas with the ability to explore and expand in whatever direction our story takes us. The focus will be largely on the human interactions with the zombie hordes being a secondary, albeit imminent threat.
It is about a month after Wildfire, the initial global outbreak, and your character has been holed up in a FEMA refugee camp set up at the old state fairgrounds on the outskirts of Macon. You fled with a group of survivors when walkers overran the grounds. Confused and scared, the group was split up by accident. There’s a rendezvous point at an old Super 8 motel on the far west side of the city. You and a small group of survivors are just a few miles east of the fairgrounds and will need to devise a plan of action. Do you head for the Super 8 Motel even though it leads you through the city? Or, do you find another direction? Do you stay with the group? Go out on your own? You’ll need food, water, and supplies regardless of what you choose.
