A group of retired adventurers comes together after many decades to attend the funeral of one of their party members, who perished under mysterious circumstances. To discover the secret behind his death, they decide they must take up arms once more…
This is both high fantasy and parody. The characters are experienced and accomplished in their fields, but decrepit and potentially senile. Challenges will hopefully be solved in unpredictable, but comedic ways, rather than through brute force/inspiring acts of bravery/feats of wizardry.
I am hoping to have a classically “balanced” party of warrior/rogue/mage/healer, or something to that effect.
I have not provided strength/weakness cards, because I’m hoping you’ll create something fitting to the character, and to the theme. (I had to make a minimum of one to publish the game, but please ignore it). So your weaknesses in particular can be something related to the characters’ age, while the strengths can be related to their experience in the field. You can also, for example, assume that after decades of thieving your rogue is filthy rich, so build a strength based on that. We can tweak strength/weaknesses together before we start if you want help.
