Warning: This game will be mature, dark and disturbing. Mature themes like rape, murder and human psyche will be present in the story along with explicit description of gore, alien and disturbing imagery. Also, I am new to narrating, and not a native speaker. :)
Welcome to the Winter Hill. Small, abandoned ghost town located in (fictitious) Blake county. Used to be small trading town back in 19th century, however, due to changes in infrastructure it is now abandoned. Empty, boarded houses. Deserted, looted shops and unkempt streets tells the story of abandonment. However, there is other side to this town. Much, much darker side. Evil lurks in the town and when you are chosen, instead of getting in the ghost town, you are trapped forever in Winter Hill. Not only that, but you are also trapped in the constant shift between a dream and a nightmare. Disturbing imagery, personal memories, memories of other people currently trapped in the town, all of that is projected into reality. Or is it reality indeed? Maybe you are just hallucinating all of that. Maybe you are dead and this is purgatory…
The Town of Winter Hill will, however, affect your psyche. The weakness is how you will react to the bizarre world around you. Your mind will shatter and when it does, how it does, is your weakness.
The Town of Winter Hill picks its victims, because they bear dark secret. Something they are ashamed of. Something they might have blocked from their memories. Something that needs to be cleaned from their hearts. It feeds on it. It festers the old wounds. Every player character will have one such dark secret and it will be affecting the nightmare they all will live through.
Can you unlock the secret of Winter Hill? Can you discover why it was you? Will you find the reason why is this happening? Or more importantly, can you cope with your dark secret and escape this hell?
Technical info:
In your description of character, please include their past life and the detail of the dark secret (there are only three, however you should specify in your description about it). We are not trying to play secret games here, instead we are trying to make good story :).
