A future where technology is the biggest dividing factor between the poor and the rich. Power is derived from who has the latest and greatest, and governments rise and fall based on how quickly they can advance. On the other side of the spectrum, folks live in poverty, still hanging on to old tech. Defunct space vehicles, rudimentary firearms, and good ‘ole fashioned man power get things done.
