After Karagatan, the enormous floating sea lab, loses another expedition of sea-explorers, Marsh & Sons Technical seeks a group of bold adventurers to discover the fates of previous expeditions. Were the expeditions sabotaged as a result of political upheaval? Or is there something dangerous lurking in the undiscovered canyons beneath the tropical waters?
The genre for this game is Steampunk, but there will very likely be scenes taking place under the sea, so think submarines instead of airships. However, the other bells and whistles associated with Steampunk aesthetic still remain.
The setting is ostensibly an alternate version of our world’s history. It takes place in the Philippines in 1900 during the Philippine-American war, but, given the nature of the genre, some creative license will be used in the worldbuilding and history throughout the course of the game.
