Dragons have not been seen in the Kingdom of Haruvia for more than a thousand years. Once they were the pride of the country, as deadly as they were beautiful and tame to only a select few. The Elkai, dragon riders that died out along with their mounts.
A few short days ago a ragged man, half blind and starving stumbled into the country’s capital Rothia. From his razed mind bubbled many things, most useless, but peculiar of all were his ramblings of dragons.
Dragons, he said, he’d seen one and followed it to where it nested to an island far off in the East. There he claimed lay not one, but hundreds of stones the color of jewels. Dragon’s eggs not yet hatched.
Many dismissed this as the ramblings of the mad, but among these naysayers, even more ears were pricking in hope. Only a few days later people were leaving in search of this Isle, warriors, pirates and Nobles, there was no distinguishing these explorers who traveled with a common goal.
