Some trek across the Known and Unknown Lands for gold, to cast off the worries of daily life and rest in the lap of luxury. Some for glory, that their deeds may become known and they may find immortality in legend and song. Some to test their mettle against worthy foes, to find their measure in the wild.
The Guild of Finders has the purest of motives for seeing all there is to see - because it’s there. In all their centuries, they have owed allegiance to no king, taken no sides in war, and remained true to their calling. They meddle, they help, they wander, and they learn. No more and no less, until the end of time.
They are the only haven for those people the world doesn’t quite accept, doesn’t quite understand.
People like you.
(Note: My goal here is to shoot for wonder and whimsy, because man, the dark and brooding trend in fantasy lately really bums me out.)
