Along the southern coast of England, lies the small town of Thornbrook. Known for a small museum of relics from the local region, it has earned its place as a place of interest for academics at the nearby Domburton University. A small bus shuttles local goods to the surrounding towns and brings back produce on a twice-weekly basis. The locals have a queer character that keeps them isolated from their neighbours, but the amount of crops produced, especially off-season, gives enough reason to let their strange ways be.
That was, until recently. The bus was expected in Calchester late on Tuesday, but having still not arrived by Thursday, folks have begun to talk. The university, concerned for the archeological and anthropological importance of the town. A few reporters are convinced they’ll find a big story and more than a few occult specialists have a suspicion something more untoward is going on.
One thing is clear, answers can be found in that quiet little town. Whether people are ready for them, is something else entirely…
