We thought we were gaining an understanding of this world. We thought we could control it. Math and science fit everything into nice little boxes where everything made sense. And it did! Everything made sense. We were kings, making the world bend to our every whim. We thought this planet was ours to rule and control.
Oh boy were we wrong.
December 31st, 2019.
That was the last day anything made sense. The last day logic reigned supreme on this big blue planet. The last day anyone could buy a “Starbucks” coffee or a roll of toilet paper. The last day you could innocently look up at the sky and appreciate them, without fearing for your life
.
Nothings been the same since that fateful day. The day the clouds began plucking us off our own planet.
Its been 3 days since the first cloud reached down from the sky. The first victim to the clouds was a 16 year old boy in Iceland who was flipping off the sky because it was overcast. Shortly after then it became utter chaos. Clouds plucking people off the ground. Hail crushing people on the ground with expert precision. Fog and mist sweeping away whole city streets of cars like their leaves in a river. The entire world was flipped upside down in a day. Iceland, the epicenter, was completely wiped out within 6 hours. The US closed their borders in response. Like that would do anything. They first attacked the US in Seattle. Within 12 hours of the first incident, the US declared Martial Law.
YOU are a survivor of this apocalypse. You’ve managed to survive the past 3 days in Los Angeles.
