Scattered throughout Scandinavia are odd hills. The land is seeming flat until suddenly a perfectly round segment of land rises up in front of you. Sometimes, you will find only one. Sometimes there are multiple at once. But whether one or many, one thing is for certain. They are beautiful.
These are the burial mounds. Old Norse structures built to house their dead. Places for the warriors of old to finally find their rest. Most of these places are given a wide berth out of reverence and respect for those who lie within.
But there are some that are open to tours.
Now, a group of tourists will find themselves trapped in a labyrinth of dark corridors and learning that just because the dead are at rest, doesn’t mean they will necessarily stay that way.
