The winds of change are howling. A world which has sit too comfortably in its mess is about to face something it’s never faced before.

On the continent of Uldar, there lives a divided people. Many nations have established dominance on the land and throughout the years have waged many wars. It has only been for the past twenty years that the residents of this large landmass have known true peace. Many have enjoyed the reigning peace, being good for many markets to flourish and bring wealth to the people. Others have wished for war, soldiers bored without the constant need to conquer.
The peace has also brought about an amazing age of adventure. Many have left their homes in search of what the rest of the world has to offer. Some return home with the most amazing stories to tell their family and friends. Others have been lost to the elements and never found again. The best part of this era are those willing to take the odd jobs for people who are in need of help. Caravans are able to find cheaper labor to watch their wagons as people get the experience of travel while protecting goods and people. It’s almost idyllic. Almost.
Tensions are rising among those who do not feel they’ve been treated by this world. Voices who’ve become tired of not being heard. Their torment brings a darkness, stirring since ancient times, waiting to emerge from its tomb.
So the darkness begins to stir on the small country of Illsmead. The people, both rich and poor, have begun to disappear one by one. Many are worried for their lives, scared to go out at night. The king of these lands, Viktor Rornic, has put out a reward for any adventurer who can help with the strange disappearances. He has asked any interested parties to meet in his castle.
Words spread far and wide. Members of other nations became interested as well, as some of their own disappeared in the kingdom while visiting. Guilds and mercenaries also took interest in the job seeing this as an easy way to earn coin. Most of all, though, a small guild known as The Sight have put their own hands into the mix. They’re help, though welcome, is mysterious as not much is known about the guild itself. Except to those who are fortunate to be members of the guild.
Yet, even as word spreads, the danger still lurks. There’s more to this than meets the eye. What will these heroes find?
