A world of turmoil and war, a place constantly at conflict with another group because of dissenting views. For a long time, the lands of Emperor Dresden, and the country of Giltana have been warring for ages. Dresden, a blood thirsty ruler, looks to own the lands for his own. The council of Giltana look to create countries of peace and liberty, where the people can learn to govern themselves. The two constantly cause wars over lands, unable to agree on how the people of their worlds should be allowed to live.
This gave birth to three different nations besides the giants of Dresden and Giltana. The first is Liberiam, made of a small island chain acting mainly as a trade resource for the other world powers. The second being Bernaan, A large, circular continent wary of outsiders and the influence other nations can have on their lands.
Then there is Reiguld, a newly formed nation which fought for it’s power against both Dresden and the Giltana council. Once completely barbaric, the lands learned on how to govern themselves. Though Giltana time and time again promised the people these same interests, Reiguld desired not to be the puppet of any nation. It’s people moved from the Badlands to create a small state known as the Greenlands. Flourishing with life, plentiful with trees and grass, it beat the ruined landscape of the Badlands, filled with desert and bones of the large monsters which still roam those lands.
Soon enough independent states rose from Reiguld. A small state to the south, which lived in eclipsed sunlight, became known as Ne’run. It’s lands houses many of the roguish types, leading to a hard life for those raised in its land. People who have come from this land tend to be cynical about life, thinking everything is just a game and everything in the world is out for grabs. It is not a land for the weak of heart.
Then to the north lies the Grunt Mount, a small state formed from a large, snowy mountain. For all but one month the climate is in a total blizzard, which helps raises the strongest of warriors in the lands of Reiguld. Many people living here care more for their cold world rather than the luxuries of the Greenlands, as warriors for the people of Grunt Mount are raised in the harshest environments, not from the relaxed.
To the west of the Grunt Mount is the small state known as Her-Kural which is shrouded in mysteries. Mostly a haven for spell-casters, many are unaware as to what the laws truly are in the state. One thing is for certain, though, that the people of Reiguld are backed by these spellcasters. Those who venture from Her-Kural are sworn to secrecy. To never tell of their home. Those who venture in usually do not make it back home, and those who do are too broken to speak of their adventures there.
To the West, covering a good third of the entire nation, is the Badlands, filled with Barbarian tribes and monsters that are larger than any fiend in the world. The people raised here are believed to be the strongest of warriors by the capitol in the Greenlands. Those who come from the Badlands tend to be uncultured but have a mastery of battle. Not many go to the Badlands, but those who return from their adventures to these lands are welcomed back home as though a hero.
The capitol of the Greenlands acts as the capitol for Reiguld. Here resides the king of Reiguld, Victor Kreinchek. He is originally from the Badlands, but become so popular among the people that he had become the leader in their freedom, and soon enough, the peoples king. And now he has called a group of people for a dangerous task. One that he has asked urgency for, because now he believes something dangerous is on the horizon, and Victor is unsure if he can stop this force by himself.
