The year is 1805, and the scene is as bloody and wild as they get. The Louisiana Purchase has just recently taken place and vast tracks of land are now open to those brave enough to settle them.
Our story takes place within the busy little town of Shanks, a former French settlement and not without its heritage. Talk of gold in the nearby mines and oil in the local fields has convinced many travelers to move in and call Shanks their new home. Riches may be here for the taking, but they wont come easily. Settlers will find themselves confronted with sickness, robbery, Indians, and murder.
