A group of gifted high-school age people are brought together by the same plight: school is destroying them. They’re too creative for the math/science, test-oriented system.
Through a series of small coincidences they band together to break free from the school system. Not feeling like taking the trouble of openly protesting, the group ends up simply ditching school one day and never coming back.
Now runaways, the creatives wander to find a place where they don’t have to hide–and their creativity can be fully unleashed.

I’m looking for very flawed, realistic characters (with original/unusual/unique/interesting flaws). By ‘creative’, I mean the stuff of genius. The kind of creativity that makes it immediately apparent you’re different from the rest. Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Dr.Seuss, that kind of creative.
I’m hoping that all the characters will have different creative interests. The more unique their creativity, the better.
I don’t want every single person to be a good artist. Be creative here! Think of all the ways people can be brilliantly creative. It doesn’t just have to be in some artsy/writerly thing, it can be in way of thinking, creativity applies to so many areas of life.
As mentioned, characters must be high school students, the age group that’s daring/stupid enough to run away instead of facing the problem of too much rigidity at school.
Players should be able to write very frequently. At least two moves per day.
Timing is everything in this story. ‘Creatives’ is what the group end up calling people as gifted in creativity as they are.
Type of story: Little to no romance, quirkiness and (obviously) creativity is embraced. It’s not meant to be a comical story, so sign up if you feel like writing about really well-developed characters with lots of flaws and quirks and uniqueness.
