You’re on the ground in Pinebox, Texas, where residents are suffering from an unknown condition nicknamed La Piedra, which leaves victims incapable of feeling any physical sensation on their skin. You’re here to investigate the strange virus, and find a cure.
The latter might be far easier to achieve than anyone thought. A strange, technology-obsessed man called “Evol” claims to possess a remedy for La Piedra. The rub: He may be the actual source of the dreaded virus … and his “cure” appears to be ghastly self-replicating electronic implants growing under his skin…
