1910, Tawny Island Fun Fair opened to A.L. Tawny. It was his dream to create an island of fun, somewhere each person could take a ferry and escape, become a child again for a full day or week or however long they wanted to stay.
A week before the opening, A.L. Tawny was found murdered in his home on the island. His home became a public tourist spot and hotel to the island. The opening was stalled by a month to prepare the funeral, leaving the fair completely abandoned on lockdown.
Some say the hotel is haunted but those are just rumours.
A.L. Tawny spoke in the papers about his favourite attraction, his beloved Carousel. He couldn’t wait to ride the elegant ride for the first time.
Since his death, once every 10 years the carousel spins on the anniversary of his death, and plays a track that only plays on that night at that time. When the track plays and the carousel spins and the horses begin to gallop, one unsuspecting person is chosen.
The chosen person is transported back to 1910 during the lockdown, where time ceases to exist and they must figure out how each of them came to be there and what they must do in order to go home.
