This modern fantasy deck depicts a gritty cast of characters in a hard-luck Michigan city just beginning to turn its fortunes around. The troll-on-troll gang wars have diminished in recent months. Under a new “diversity” initiative police have been forced to accept non-human recruits. Dryads have formed a lobbyist group to champion environmental causes at the city and state level.
The criminal underworld is awash with rumors of a dark force on the rise. Powerful members of the non-human community are making plans to leave the city despite it being an election year.
Be prepared for the worst: telling a pan-handler to “Go to Hell” might just end up with her casting a spell to do just that.
