An experiment conducted in the year 7796 at some point in the universe has caused a premature eruption of the cosmic event known as the Big Rip. It is not working as physicists had thought it would work, but either way it is destroying thousands of inhabited worlds and causing the flow of time to go haywire all over the place. Two ships have been specially created to study, and eventually reverse both the possible causes of the pockets of Torn Space and time and hopefully, at some point to reverse them. The Needle and the Thimble have both been constructed and dispatched for this purpose. This is the story of the crew of the Needle.
You do not need graphics for your characters or cards for my games. You also don’t need to know about quantum physics or space travel either. Human players are encouraged, but alien races of your own creation are welcome (any copies of popular franchise aliens such as Volcans will be refused.)
