For over one hundred years, St. Vitreous’ School For Boys has stood as a bastion of gentlemen’s education. A private boarding school, housed in the English countryside, boys from all over the country–and in some cases, all over the world–travel here to educate their minds and bodies in the ways of young gentlemen. The year is 1880 and boys from wealthy families travel by coach, carriage or railcar for the chance at a better education–or at least, their parent’s hope so. And scholarship boys creep after them, hoping for a chance to better their life.
At the heart of St. Vitreous’, though, is the Skeleton Key society. A whisper in the dark, an insignia of a key on the headmaster’s door–this famed secret society is said to hold cabinet ministers, nobles and members of the Queen’s council. No one knows how its members are selected or if it truly even exists.
But the real purpose of the society is masked in much greater mystery. For there is a secret to St. Vitreous’ and the Skeleton Key society, an old and powerful credo to which the school is dedicated, hinted at by the sign carved at the front of the wrought iron gate.
An nulla ianua clausa
An opened door can never be closed.

GM Notes: This is an M/M slash game. This means a good part of the focus is on romance between men. The rest of the game will feature an occult secret society and lots of fun school drama. Characters should be 17-18–the equivalent of the final year of high school. They will generally be previous students at St. Vitreous, but if you prefer, your student can have transferred in.
Please note, my grasp of history is a bit shaky, but I have assistance and the internet, so I will do my best!
The occult bits will probably be a slow build, so no immediate monsters.
