A pack of strangers now finds themselves in a beautiful pine forest around a pristine lake, knowing that a plane got them here by crashing, but there’s no sign of the plane, or anyone else for that matter in sight. The forest is calm. A little too calm. And it seems the heroes are not alone here.
The heroes must explore the realm and deal with their own sorrows and fears, as well as the hazards of this chilly lake to survive. They come from various walks of life, and none of them have met, but it is clear they’ll need each other to explore and make it home.

This story was inspired by an exotic location in a horror book I read. The story is a survival story, but it has distinct horror elements and characters ought to be reflections of that.
All characters submitted are either to be dealing with a traumatic event from their past or have a phobia of some kind and such things ought to be in character descriptions. I look forward to you all coming in.
This story uses the “Mysterious island” deck, but I plan to modify it greatly and encourage perspective players to do the same. I’m looking for anything from 3 to 8 players, and I award spots in my stories first-come, first-served unless I have severe reason to reject someone or some character.
