This is Ruinhaven, the Shattered City, a place of bright lights, dark shadows, and all the wonders of a fantasy metropolis that once dominated the known world and rivaled the Gods themselves in majesty.
Now the city lies in literal pieces, six sundered wards that nourish, sustain, and utterly imprison their citizens. No one in Ruinhaven can leave the city or travel between the wards.
No one, that is, but the Spellborn. Descendants of the Magelords that ruled this city - the same ones that split it apart - their ancestral blood gives them special powers and the ability to use the Locus Gates and wander the city entire.
This is the story of one such Spellborn, an alley cat drifter of a girl making her way in life as a courier, messenger, and occasional sneak thief…
